History

After hearing the stories of Rachel's Vineyard participants, Dr. Burke realized something important: there's a link between sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, and the trauma of abortion. That's why she created Grief to Grace—a program that offers complete support, both psychologically and spiritually, to survivors of abuse.

Our mission is to provide a safe space where survivors can heal, offering them a comprehensive approach that combines psychological and spiritual care.

Founders

Founded in Pennsylvania in 2005,
Grief to Grace now ministers internationally.

Why Grief to Grace?

In order to heal a loss, that loss must first be acknowledged and grieved.  Abuse remains all too often a shameful or guilty secret;  so much energy is directed towards keeping it hidden.  The loss of integrity, security and sexual dignity, are so fearful and shameful that they may never have been fully acknowledged.

Grief to Grace guides you safely through the process of sharing your story with respect and dignity.

Restoring Dignity

You are precious to Jesus Christ.

  • The truth is: You are not the names you have been called or called yourself.

  • The truth is: Something terrible happened to you.

  • The truth is: Your courageous spirit has helped you survive.

Your unique beauty and worth will be claimed as truth, no longer hidden by the past.
